Berenice María Carles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has a strong interest in using technology to advance mental health care. She completed her undergraduate thesis titled “La Terapia AVATAR como innovación terapéutica en la esquizofrenia: perspectivas iniciales entre los profesionales de salud mental en Argentina” (English: AVATAR Therapy as a Therapeutic Innovation in Schizophrenia: Initial Perspectives Among Mental Health Professionals in Argentina).
She is currently an intern at TELL within the Centro de Neurociencias Cognitivas (UdeSA), where she works with language protocols for the early detection of Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegenerative markers through speech and language analysis.
